  1. Transportation is a paid service designed to service its paying customers. It is not designed, nor can it handle, large number of riders that are not regular riders. If your child/ren want to sign up for a club or be involved in athletics and they are not regular van riders, it is your responsibility as parents to figure out how they will get home. Our high school and middle school regular van riders may chose to ride home at either 2:30 or 4:30 pm. All elementary students (Grade K-5) are expected to go home at 2:30 PM unless special arrangements are made in advance with the Elementary Principal’s office in conjunction with the Transportation office.
  2. Two thirty (2:30) PM vans are door to door service.  Four thirty (4:30) PM vans are drop-off points only. Drop-off points are established every year. Normally they are at your subdivision gate but not always. Sometimes, they are public places, such as gas stations or fast food restaurants. It is for this reason that elementary students are not normally allowed to take the 4:30 PM activity vans.
  3. There are no activity vans (4:30 PM) on Wednesdays because there are no after school activities on Wednesdays.
  4. When you enroll your student(s) for transportation service you are committing to continue with the service for the duration of the school year. Failure to comply will result in a charge to your account for 10% of the semester fee.
  5. Registration for the next year’s van service is due in May. We will always try to accommodate late registration especially for new students; however the only way to guarantee your child’s spot on the vans is to register by May 31 of the previous year.

If a regular van rider wants to bring a friend home for the weekend, this can be arranged by submitting a van pass to the Transportation office.

Single Ride Van Passes:  Things you should know.
  1. Single Ride Van Passes range in cost from $6.30 (P321.30) to $8.05 (P410.55), depending on the route. They are charged to your school account. No cash transactions will be accepted.
  2. We do not change existing routes to accommodate van pass riders. In other words, if we don’t have regular riders near where you live, we will not be able to provide a ride.
  3. The passes are one-way only. So, if your child is going home with one of our regular riders and he/she needs a ride back to school the next day, your child will need two van passes.
  4. The number of van passes we issue daily is limited. Most routes can only accommodate one or two additional riders so please do not make plans assuming you can get a van pass. Get your van pass first, and then make your plans.
  5. Van passes are issued by the Transportation Office up until 1:00 PM daily. Students without a van pass will not be able to ride. While we try to accommodate extra riders, our space is limited and we are not able to guarantee a space.
  6. Van passes are intended for occasional use only, not regular weekly use. If your child/ren want to be involved in a club every week, you cannot rely on using van passes to get them home. You must find other arrangements or sign up for a regular van service.

Volunteer!

Faith Academy appreciates parent volunteers for various positions on campus. We invite you to serve along with us when you are available. Whether as a coach, classroom assistant, playground duty, substitute teacher or helping in the library . . . we have these and other opportunities to serve on an informal (non-contract) basis. Our hope is that your gift of time and service will make a positive impact on our students.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email the Volunteer Coordinator to find out the requirements and what positions are available.

If you know of another person who is already serving in the Philippines, but is not already a parent of a Faith student who might like to serve, please share this application with them.

Personal Driver Registration

For the safety of our students, we ask that you register any driver who is not the child’s parent or legal guardian. Drivers who are not registered may be prohibited from entering campus. Thank you.

Houses

All Faith Academy students and staff are placed in one of four houses for the duration of their time at Faith Academy. The four houses are named using Greek Biblical terms. They are Kaio, Anastasis, Machaira, and Tharseo. The house system provides a vertically oriented infrastructure that intentionally allows for mentoring and friendship building across different grade levels, leadership opportunities for students, and more deliberate pastoral care in our school community.

Kaio (Fire – to kindle & give light, John 5:35)
Anastasis
(Phoenix – to bring life, John 11:25)
Machaira (Sword – to bring truth, Eph 6:17)
Tharseo (Wolf – to be bold & courageous, Heb 13:6)
